They have offered Earv Archambeau from Avon but he will probably go to Minnesota... And they have told Matt Dykstra of Avon that they are interested (no official offer)

Earv is a fast guy (any position)
      Matt is probably a DE

Coach Stig said in an interview this afternoon, that they got a defensive commit this past week and that it should be announced sometime in the near future. The Jacks also had about 20 recruits in last weekend and look to have another 20-25 this weekend in town.

Anyone heard any feedback on the recruits in town. They certainly saw a heckuva game!

                    R. K. Kilgore was the verbal Stig was commenting on. Expected to play D-back.

Sounds like a good get. 6'2" safety could put some hurting on some people...

Did somebody say future Scott Connot? That'd be cool.

                          Re: 2009 Prospects

Terry had a blurb about the signing in his blog post today:

...The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is a three-year starter at quarterback in the rugged Class 5A conference that is home to Cretin-Derham Hall. Kilgore projects as a linebacker or safety in college, and said that he loves playing defense, but his prep coaches don’t let him other than in shut-down situations...

I know there were several recruits at the McNeese State game including Phil Wright and Will Powell two highly touted players from O'Gorman. Kilgore was also at the game.

What about Dustin Lotzer as a QB from Sisseton... 29 TDs and 2 INT this season. Has the best QB Rating of any high schooler in the nation.

Since I can't link Lotzer's name... here's the MaxPreps page with his stats so far... Mods, if you can fix it, please feel free to!
