Great choices, a tough one to decide on. I trust Fred and committee will be very observant and good listeners this week. In the end, we should have a very good coach.

I had a chance to visit with Nana when she was in for interviews. She was VERY articulate and personable and I think she is ready for the challenge here.

While I don't think it was the #1 criteria, and I have no idea what the thinking of the search committee was...I wasn't surprised that we added a woman coach to our staff if most of the criteria were even among the finalists.

Re: Search for New Head Coach

Now that we got a head coach who seems to have a lot of potential to be amazing, it's time to finish recruiting. We need to get a couple more hitters to have a shot at being a top 5 time. Nana's got a challenge ahead of her building up a team that lost most of it's key components. A couple more hitters and she might have a very great first year as head coach. Now I just wonder who we'll hire as assistants...

Assistant Coach Suggestion: Tina Martin is one of the finest young people I've met. She's doing a sports marketing internship right now. I'm guessing she'd be a great coach if that's one of the things she'd want to do.

Re: Search for New Head Coach

It's exciting to see the new coach hired. How has the loss of a coach and gaining a new one influenced the commitments we've gotten from 2009 recruits? Has anything changed?
