  • Florida Gulf Coast Tourney

Western Carolina up first -- Looks like they finished just a couple of games below .500 last year & are as young as we are with only one senior. They enter this tourney looking for their first win of 2008 (0-3) and apparently pitching is an issue as they've managed to give up 32 runs (!!!!!) in those 3 losses! Our creative offense should be able to produce plenty of opportunities for us to run away with this one! I expect the Lady Bunnys to move to 4-1 on the season in a big way and look forward to tonights matchup with host Florida Gulf Coast. Look for the scouting report later today!

    Re: Florida Gulf Coast Tourney

Bunnys lose 6-5! Sounds like one inning did us in! Anyway, the ladies are regrouping for host Florida Gulf Coast. FGC is in their first year of reclassification, currently 5-5 on the year, but as their 62-7 record from last year indicates, they can play ball. Looks like they have a good pitcher and are capable of scoring a few runs but we'll see how their 'D' holds up against our running game. Hopefully the Lady Bunnys can rebound and roll into tomorrow with a win under their belt.
