The schools scheduled to compete are Minnesota, Iowa, U of Manitoba and St. Cloud State

It sounds like no one from SDSU competes until saturday as heptathlon takes place on friday and then on friday field events start at 1030 and running starts at 1.

Men led by outstanding performances from RdShrt Fr Marshall Kambestad in the 3,000 meter race and Jr. Nick Schanaman in the 60-meter hurdles.

Women led by Soph (transfer from Colorado State) Jennie Mack and a school-record-setting in the 20-lb weight throw (Mack was the top collegiate performer in the event which was won by an unattached athlete). The SDSU sprinters looked very strong, too.

I had a fun time up there and even saw chad greenway at the meet. I did not think there track was anything special (not even close to being as nice as mankato's) and consession food was way too expensive ($2.50 for a bag of m&m's).
