    Re: Coaching with no shoes

They were talking about this on Mike n Mike last week on ESPN radio. It might be cool to put together a contingent of shoes from SDSU and send them to coach hunter's organization.

Ya this is a great idea and i'm glad some people don't take take shoes for granted. I have a couple pairs of shoes i would not mind donating to the cause and i'm sure most of us have plenty of old shoes that are still wearable to someone.

This morning they interviewed coach Hunter on Mike & Mike. I watched it on ESPN II. Somebody from Adidas was on there and they were giving him 15,000(I think) pairs of shoes. I think he has more than his goal. He was talking about his players wanting to go with him(over there) but he doesn't know if it's legal.

I think that would be a great idea. I didn't read all the links, but does anyone knwo of an address to send them if you have some. I would just go to Wal-Mart and get 2 or 3 pair and send them to him. I also have a friend that has a sport shop and I am sure she has some obsolete Nikes I could get. If anyone knows, let me know. My wife does several gift boxes for Samaritan's Purse and would assume this to be the same type of group.

It actually was Converse, not adidas.

They had a segment on ESPN this morning on Coach Hunter and highlights of the game.

It was pretty cool! IUPUI beat Oakland 82 to 69.

And, actually, the highlights are online in the video on the right side of the page...
