In a unanimous vote, the Mid-Continent Conference Presidents Council has voted to extend the contract of Commissioner Tom Douple through Oct. 31, 2010.
“All of the Presidents expressed great admiration for Commissioner Douple’s leadership and willingness to tackle the hard issues the conference has faced for many years,” said Dr. Alvin Goldfarb, Western Illinois President and chair of the Presidents Council. “We have made outstanding progress during his tenure.”
