Links to five articles in the Argus on USD's move to D-I are listed below (I picked these off from a post entered today on USD's fan message board by sdsportsfan).

Re: Argus Articles about USD's move to D-I

USD made some apparent progress earlier this spring when athletic directors from what will be left of the Great West Football Conference said they're receptive to including the Coyotes and the University of North Dakota on schedules.

Nothing is official yet, but USD could play two of the league's remaining three schools - Utah Valley State and Cal Poly - in 2008, with the league forming a five-school round-robin arrangement beginning in 2009.

Maybe the Argus Leader should let Terry V. proof read these articles before they print them. If you are trying to make impressions on schools from the Summit League, don't you think they should know that Southern Utah is in the Great West Football Conference, not Utah Valley State. :-/

I do agree that misquoting something like that should not happen. I don't think Mick Gary is a very good beat writer. He never blogs compared to Terry. I actually found the articles rather boring and repetitive but I guess at this time of the year there isn't much sports news to write about. It seemed like a few months ago there were articles done very similar to these. I really didn't learn anything all that new by reading them.
