  • Middle Tennessee's new videoscoreboard

Being constructed in Brookings as we speak. I did not realize that Daktronics' headquarters was located there. Very interesting.

A 576-square-foot big screen will soon be installed in MTSU's Floyd Stadium.

The Blue Raiders hope their fans will provide the SurroundSound.

Construction of MTSU's new scoreboard is underway 1,000 miles away in Brookings, S.D., the site of Daktronics headquarters. Its creation and installation is on schedule to be at Floyd Stadium for MTSU football's home opener against Western Kentucky on Sept. 20.

Well, it's something we're pretty proud of... Chances are if you go to a major sporting event, the scoreboards/video/message displays are from Daktronics.

The company was founded by two SDSU profs.

It's our understanding that they will begin installation in the middle of July. Any idea how long it actually takes Daktronics manufacturers to make one of these videoscoreboards?

It doesn't take too long once all the pre-fab is done... of course that all depends on how big the display is.
