What happened to the MavBots' latest attempt at a smack thread?

It was getting a tad personal about our Coach and I deemed it inappropriate for our board so it was removed.  I will also admit that I have not had the best of days and that may have influenced my judgment.

Keep doing it '89...actually, I would say kill any of the comments from the Mavbots...and any other D II teams that want to use our board to do their whining! Letting people have their say is fine, but I would believe the vast majority on our board, would agree that we're not interested in their comments or their schools. We no longer have anything in common. Let them haunt their own board and those of their contemporaries. (I didn't have a bad day -- actually it was quite a nice day...if you like blowing snow out of the driveway!!)

Not saying the thread shouldn't have been nuked, but smack is smack. If you can't take it, then don't dish it.

I can't believe I am going to post that.

I can appreciate your stance, and your opinion is noted.  However, I think Filbert said it best on another thread:

Finally I will have to disagree that "smack is smack" the smack section is not a free for all where anything goes.  Filbert and I tend to be more lenient with the smack section of the board, nevertheless the board rules still apply.    This seems an approprite time to remind everyone of the what the rules say:

I should have been more clear in my previous post, I meant it to apply only to the idea of not allowing any posts from the Mavbots, usd2, etc.
