  • RATINGS

I noticed this morning that the Jacks didn't get any respect for their win over the #4 rated DII. Still not rated in the top #25. Maybe a win over Winona another top 25 team will earn us some respect.

      Re: RATINGS

All the polls are just plain stupid at this time of year. NWMSU should obviously be ranked behind SDSU. SDSU is a better team and proved it on the field. Most polls have a double-edged sword. On one hand they say ""What have you done lately?", on the other they don't move people around if they haven't done anything lately. It's hard to move into the polls, and it's hard to move out. I would have dropped NWMSU out of the top 25, especially after their one TD win over Mankato. If they deserve to be in the top 25, they can win their way back.

          Re: RATINGS

I don't understand why the D2football.com poll won't drop someone (NWMSU) that deserves to be dropped. They're either ignorant, or scared to drop a team that isn't performing well that was overrated earlier. The Don Hansen and Dopke both will drop somebody if they deserve it (see St. Cloud State). They can then earn their spot if they DESERVE it, not because the pollsters feel they will comeback later in the year.
