  • SDSU Recruits in the Nebraska Shrine Game

Here is the link to the game story in the Omaha World Herald.

Wouldn't you know it, but the star of the game, Micheal Bowar is headed to NDSU. He has some long runs of 25 and 30 yards, and 135 all together. Apparently he has quickness and can get out in front of the crowd if he is given the big holes.

SDSU recruits not mentioned in the game strory but did play were Tim Neneman of Omaha North and Joshua Schulte from Norfolk Central Catholic.
Nicolas Flesner from Pierce, Neb who was recruited as a defensive lineman at SDSU but started as an offensive linemen for the North team. He is a big guy at 6-4 and 245 lbs.

No mention of Ruey Dei of Omaha Burke, so I dont know if this Shrine game is a real measure of talent.  It does show that NDSU and Chadron State are getting two good runnings backs.  Woodhead from North Platte is headed to Chadron, but he got hurt in the game and that is not good.  Looking at the Chadron website, they were really pleased at landing Woodhead so late in the recruiting season. I think maybe a few weeks back.
