  • Bison lose OC & DC(?)

I haven't been to bisonville to find out the truth to this, but can anyone provide some more info? If true, what does this do to the Bison.

Tim Albin & Jimmy Burrow have left ND st. and are going to be named Offensive & Defensive Coordinators for Solich. According to the Omaha paper. No more news. They are not high profile, but they are excellent choices. We should start seeing more names pop up in a day or two.

It's true. It was on the WDAY news last night that they had accepted the coaching positions, and there was an article in The Forum yesterday that they had job offers with Solich at Ohio University-http://www.bisonzone.com/index.cfm?p...l&id=78573

Burrow will be the DC at Ohio, but it's unclear what -position Albin will be at (something on offense).

It's unfortunate for NDSU to lose coaches, but it's not anything new. Bohl has shown that he is capable of putting together a great coaching staff. NDSU lost their OC last year (Enos) to Cincinnati.

There's a press conference today to announce the new OC and DC at NDSU, which are both current coaches at NDSU. The speculation is that Bradley will be the new DC and Perles will be the OC. Bradley was the DC for NDSU under Babich, and has two years of learning Bohl's new defensive scheme with Jimmy Burrow. Perles was the O line coach and running game coordinator, and is the only remaining "outside" coach that Bohl hired when he first came to NDSU. Both of these coaches will be more than capable of taking over the coordinator positions, and were probably overqualified in their previous roles on the NDSU coaching staff.

    Here's their bios-
    Casey Bradley
    Patrick Perles

Now, Bohl just has to find some position coaches....

Hehe! I think the Bison will be OK. Albin had only been here one year and Casey Bradley is a heck of a coach. Besides the Forum reported the five head coaches applied for the two openings - and the openings are for assistant coaches, not coordinators.
