What does your schedule look like next season? Does UNC come up to your place? Remember also, that this was our second season in D-1aa. UNC posted a 9-2 record our first year in 2003. Although it was a mixed schedule against D-1aa schools and D-2 schools we beat Montana State, UC Davis and Southern Utah and should have beaten Florida Atlantic. We were in every ball game besides 2 blowouts against high ranked teams this season. We even had should have beaten Florida Atlantic a D -1a team. I recomend that you don't have such a tough schedule like we did at such an early stage of the transition process.

Florida Atlantic was a I-AA during your (UNC's) first season in I-AA. This was FAU's first season as a I-A.

I am aware the FAU was a D-1aa tema our first year. That year, we had a chance to win the game but Vince Jackson fumbled the ball after recieving a put. This year we played them at home for our homecoming. They were a D-1a team. We ended up losing by 2 touchdowns that were late in the game. We certainly had our chances. FAU is a good 1a team.

          --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2005 University of Montana Grizzly football schedule has been revised, and the new version features a road game against the University of Oregon Ducks on September 10. With the new schedule, six of UM's first eight contests in 2005 will be played in Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

"We're excited for the opportunity to play a team from the Pac-10 Conference," said UM head coach Bobby Hauck. "Autzen Stadium (capacity 54,000) is a great venue, and it will be a difficult place to take a young football team and try to pick up a win.

"While we're disappointed to lose a home game from our schedule, our team in excited to have a chance to play a team that caliber of Oregon," Hauck said.

The Griz open the season at home on September 3 against Fort Lewis College from Durango, Colorado. That game is followed by the game against the Ducks, which will be UO's home opener. Oregon opens its season on Sept. 1 at the University of Houston. The Griz had originally scheduled a home game against Central Washington on Sept. 10.

Montana hosts South Dakota State on Sept. 17. That game is followed by an open week. The Griz begin their Big Sky Conference slate, hosting the Weber State Wildcats in their annual Homecoming game on October 1.
