I noticed last week in the Star Tribune that Joey Abell has resumed his amateur boxing career winning the super-heavyweight division of the Golden Gloves Upper Midwest in convincing fashion with a knockout. I know he was a champion prior to going to SDSU. Boxing may be his calling if pro-football doesn't work out. He must be scary in the ring.
