Third Week Predictions

Following is the list of games for this week. Since the games are all on Saturday, predictions do not need to be in until Friday night. It looks like a tough week to predict. Good luck. SDSU and NDSU are the only unbeaten teams in the Great West and Davis and Southern Utah are yet to win. The Great West overall record is 6 and 6. But only 3 and 5 against DI-AA teams.



South Dakota State at Montana
Southeastern Louisiana at Northern Colorado
Southern Utah at Northern Arizona
Weber State at North Dakota State
Montana State at Cal Poly
UC Davis at Stanford

This is the last week before the conference season begins.

Week Three Predictions are in.  NDSU, Northern Arizona and Stanford are unanimous picks this week.   UNC is an 8-3 pick over Southeast Louisana and Montana State came in at 7-4 pick over Cal Poly.  

In the big game, Kid Dakota, Mitchell, and Rabbitlivinginverm did what all of us wanted to do, they picked the Jacks to upset Montana.  We all hope they are right and the Jacks prove the rest of us wrong.

From a prognostigators perspective,this was a week of upsets. No one saw the Davis victory coming and very few expedted the Cal Poly win over Montana State. Our group accuracy rate was 64%.

From the Great West Conference perspective, it was a stellar day with the two victories mentioned above, SDSU's close game with Montana, and expected wins by NDSU and UNC. The standing of the Great West Conference shoud take a substantial postive step us in the natinal rankings this week. The Sagarin rankings had the Great West #7 among the DI-AA conferences compared to # 2 last year before this week.

Hats off to SDSU/BHS Fan who was the only one to accurately predict five games this week, enough to move him into first place for the year as well as for the week. MilwaukeeJacksAlum moved into sole possession of second.
