The guys over in Bisonville are, in the wake of the latest Big Sky non-news, actually starting to discuss going to I-A--here:

My inner Jackrabbit says "yeah, go for it!" but my more rational side says that just maybe we should get ourselves established in I-AA first.

We need to get to 57 scholies first so we can play D1A schools but going to 85? Nah not now. Not only that you have to average 16000 per game in attendence and a host of other things.

Montana has the potential to move up but even they might have some challenges that are not there at the D1AA level. Not a good deal.
