I see UNI leads 6-0. No idea how they scored.

Maybe everyone already knows this or it's been posted before, but I'm 99.9% sure UNI head coach Mark Farley is the older brother of Greg, who played for the Jacks during the mid to late 80s.

I'm pulling for the Panthers. Like us they once played in the NCC and they are from the Mid-West. We also get a crack at them next year. Always fun to say you are taking on the defending National Champion.

                Go UNI.

I concur. I should be able to make it to that game.

                    UNI 16 - ASU 21
                    Final
That Hunter was a defensive animal for APP. State, and only played 1 year of HS ball and is a year short in college. The whole ASU defense is really pretty good. UNI had turnovers in first have they could only muster 6 points from, that was a killer.

Good game, first time in a IAA Championship for both schools. I think it is the first time in 7 year that they have two teams that have never been in a AA champ game. It was ASU first championship in any sport ever (1903).

Well, I guess we get the National Runner Up for the second year in a row. Maybe we are bad luck to have on your next years schedule. Hopefully we'll be more bad luck for the Panthers next year!
