No specifics, but they usually start spring ball around the 1st of April and have 4 weeks of practice, with the spring game being the saturday at the end of the 4th week.

It was unseasonally warm here last week. It got as high as 87. It is suppose to be milder this comming week, in the mid seventies.

What all does the "Spring Game" entail, and how much of a spectator event is it?

Its not a regular 60 minute game, but rather a shorter version. They split the teams up by Offense and Defense. Parker Douglas and Brainbridge do their special teams stuff for both sides. Its scored differently too. The coaching staff is basically  trying to see how each individual performs and possibly some may move up in the depth charts. Its fun to see what the red shirt freshman have to offer and if we have a few transfers, its fun to see what they can add to the program.
I dont recall all the specific rules, but its worth watching. Its never been short sleeve weather except once or twice that I recall so it would not hurt to bring a jacket and maybe a parka would not be out of line.
Depends on the weather. I know they played in wet weather of rain a few years back and one of the then D1 transfers got hurt real bad and never got back to his capability so if its wet or raining Stig will probably call the game off. The spring game is a concern for injuries.

Stig is usually in the radio booth with Steve Emming during the game so bring your walkman and listen to all that is going on. You find out some details from Stig that you would not hear during the season.

There has been a broadcast in the past, and with thought of building more following, I don't see them not caring it this year unless there are some budget crunches going on that we dont know about.
