    Montana State defeats University of Colorado 19-10. Wow. Must not be one of their better teams this year up in Boulder.

            Richmond beat Duke 13-0, another FCS (nee I-AA) team beating a FBS (nee I-A) team.

              Kansas State barely avoided an upset at the hands of Illinois State, 24-23.

                Northwestern State gave KU all they could handle too. 49-18 was the final but the crowd booed the Jayhawks for not dominating the game. Northwestern State's defense held its own against KU's offense.

                K-State is picked last in the Big 12 North so they aren't that good anymore.

                  Actually, it's not certain that anyone in the Big 12 North is really any good. Most folks think whoever comes out of the North will get waxed by Texas or Oklahoma or whoever wins the South in the Big 12 championship game.

                    They are correct there. Looks like Missouri and Nebraska had the best showings today. Nebraska is actually ranked #20 but I don't think they will stay there.
