Also in 2007, the Eagles will host South Dakota State on Oct. 6, a SDSU spokesman said. Georgia Southern, which defeated the Jackrabbits 55-42 on the road last season, is slated to play in Brookings, S.D., again in 2009

I enjoyed the hospitality when we played SDSU last year. I look forward to coming to Brookings in 2009.

By that time, we'll have been in the Mid-Continent Conference for two years, our transition period will be over, and we should be up to 63 schollies, or at least darn close to it!

It'll be a blast! Just don't forget to stop in at Ray's Corner early in the morning for its famous Bloody Marys!
