  • Offensive Line for 2007

I know this is futile, but what else do I have better to do.

We are only losing one O-linemen from last year. Matt Oelkers are starting center.

Here's my list of the possible o-line for this season.

    Preston Crumly-LT Sr.
    Nick Flesner-LG Jr.
    Kevin Robling-C Jr.
    Dusty Lebrun-RG Sr.
    Mitch Erickson- RT Sr.

We have plenty of giants that will be third year sophomores next year. They will be able to fill in if somebody is injured or playing poorly.

Experience on the O-line can carry a team a long ways. With a new QB and some inexperience at RB it will be important for these "fat guys" as Stig calls them, to lead the way. I'm looking forward to them knocking around a few other guys.

This starting group of guys will give us an excellent line. Lots of experience. Also the guys who back them up are a talented bunch. Coach Meadows does a very good job with them.

Scott Gillen is another linemen I forgot to put on this list. He'll be a Jr. next year. He got a few starts last year. We are plenty deep on the o-line.

Knips got some playing time too at tackle. He'll be a sophomore, I believe.

Jacob Ludemann will also finally being seeing the field this year. Knowing Jacob I think he's going to be a really fun player to watch in the next years. He's got that right mix of attitude that you love to see in a lineman.
