Should our venerable CAS update to Field Turf, ala Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls?

Because it would make the unpredicatable South Dakota weather irrelevant in terms of field conditions. It would also provide for expanded opportunities for more football to be played at Coughlin and other events throughout the year. The turf technology has come a long ways and don't believe players are more or less prone to injuries vs natural grass. I think with other potential revenue sources the turf would pay for itself as grass is so difficult to maintain.

Well stated. The field turf at Howard Wood, Winona St, etc.. has revolutionized those venues. I agree with those who don't like the soccer lines and other distractions but I think it would be well worth the investment to install field turf, this is of course only my opinion.
