    Another D-II chapter ends for SDSU. Congratulations to the SCSU men's and UND women's tennis teams.

    SDSU Men Second In NCC Tennis
    South Dakota State’s Steve Grantz won the North Central Conference title at No. 5 singles, preventing St. Cloud State from scoring a sweep as the Huskies won their third straight league men’s tennis title over the weekend at Omaha.

    Grantz, one of three Jacks in the finals, helped SDSU to a second place finish, trailing St. Cloud State 35-21.Grantz defeated Travis Marohl of St. Cloud State 6-2 6-3 in the finals. Others in the singles finals were Ben Barnes at No. 1 and Brian Hylle at No. 4. Barnes and Jeff Everson were also second at No. 1 doubles.

    SDSU Women Sixth In NCC Tennis
    South Dakota State, led by third place finishes from Emily Rollins at number four singles and Jen Creed at number five singles, finished sixth at the North Central Conference women's tennis championships in Omaha over the weekend.

    North Dakota won six of the nine individual titles to claim its third straight team title.
