While I am at it, here is an email I got Monday from a guy I respect a lot.

What does SDSU have to offer Division I?

The National Collegiate Scouting Association (www.ncsaports.org) does a
Power Ranking. The current rankings, which are for the 2002-03 school
year, came out in July ... SDSU was 18th in Division II ...

Their rating is computed using the Director's Cup (formerly Sears Cup),
U.S.World and News Report ranking, and graduation rates ...

North Dakota State was not in the top 25. Matter of fact, no other
NCC team was in the top 25.

The Director's Cup awards all-around sports programs ... SDSU was fifth
in the 2003 year; finished ninth this year.

Graduation rates: the NCAA computes graduation rates based on six-year
cycles ... so the current graduation rates, for the SA's who started
in 1997, just came out ...SDSU's student athletes have a 73 per cent
graduation rate, which is 20 per cent above the student body average.

SDSU simply put has a well rounded athletic program which puts the
emphasis on the student-athlete having success both as athletically and
      academically.

That is what he sent me. This is the type of stuff that SDSU better have in their presentation. It's a sales job at this point, boys!

Enough said. I now wish to nominate Mike H. as the best edition to the board since its inception with the understanding that I can retract that nomination if he ticks me off.

Now that this info is out on the Bison board odds are that this will be the most listened to Craig and Mike show ever.  Too bad its too late to secure some more advertising bucks.

Question, when I try and connect with KWSN I get an error message and it shuts down my internet connections. This also happened yesterday. I can link with other radio stations but not KWSN. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ok, I tried but I could never connect with KWSN. Would someone please give me the highlights.

Got a phone call in the middle of the interview, and missed the majority of it. Will this be archived on the web-site to hear later?

Sorry, we archive for our own purposes, but we do not allow downloads. No, I don't know why.

1strow, I suggest you quit your job.

89: It must be your connection, or we overloaded the streaming feed. We got a call afterwards from a guy who was listening in Wyoming. I did find out we had some technical problems last week, but they have been fixed on our end.

Did Mr. Fullerton have anything interesting to say?

You are absolutely right, it is a sales job at this point and I think the adminstration can handle that part. Pres Chapman and Pres. Miller have probably made a number of telephone calls to the BSC presidents. I would think that they would not be walking into a room of strangers at the next BSC president meeting. If the touring committee comes to Brookings, I think SDSU will be ready for them. These negative guys that grubble daily around the coffee tables in Brookings about the D1 move will be moved to a faraway closet and the tour will probably not include these places of free expression. ;D
