Jacks and NDSU tie in wrestling action today, 19-19.

Didn't someone say that a tie is like kissing your sister?

Maybe this is how the herpes thing spread in Minnesota?

Anyway, congrats to the Jacks on a great effort.

We had one forfeit today, too, but managed to tie. Great job, Jacks!

Just a few comments about the great job the Jackrabbit wrestling TEAM did on Sunday:

                1) For those not in attendance, we were probably just a few seconds away from winning, when time expired as RsF Ryan Meyer was about to get a takedown and win a major, which would have given us four points and a 20-19 win. 2) We won six of the matches. 3) Travis Gottschalk did another remarkable job against NDSU's Jacob Bryce at 197. Giving away 10-15 pounds because has had to wrestle at 197, Travis frustrated Bryce repeatedly and averted a major decision by Bryce, which would have given NDSU a 20-19 win. 4) Finally, having to give up a sixpoint forfeit at 133 does hurt, which means the rest of the team performed GREAT (and because of Tyler Sorenson's injury, we had to have several people move up a weight). Great coaching job Jason and Matt!!!
