Bad Day for USD

USD started the day ranked #5 in the nation, they ended it by being the 3rd best team in South Dakota (with losses to both NSU and SDSU). They still have Augie to play, it could be a really bad weekend. ;)

USD lost to Augie 63-61. They are the 4th best team in SD! ;)

As I have said before, they will live and die (ultimately die) by the 3-point shot as illustrated by the Augie game:

For the game, South Dakota went 0-for-14 from beyond the three-point line, which was a season low. In comparison, Augustana hit 56.3 percent from downtown (9-of-16). From the field, USD was 20-of-50 (40.0 percent), while the Vikings were 22-of-49 (44.9 percent).

USD sucks as usual, men and women.

USD could really dig themselves into a deeper whole this weekend. The lack of conference games makes each one a premium.
