  • HOME ATTENDENCE FOR TOP 10 IN REGION

As we head down the home stretch I thought it would be interesting to see of the 10 teams vying to play and potentially host the regional tournament:

    #1-Metro State 630
    #2-Kearney 3276
    #3-SDSU 3343
    #4-Col Chris 448
    #5-Northern 2743
    #6-NDSU 2436
    #7-Omaha 1423
    #8-St Cloud 2764
    #9-Ft. Lewis 1122
    #10 Bemidji 639

I know attendence will not totally dictate where they play the regional but I'm sure it's factored in along with ranking, schools proximity to site, head to head battle etc. Obviously would love to see it at Frost. Lot of ball to be played!

Not a lot of local talent (or talent at all) on Bemidji's DII roster to attract fans, either. Its a long trip from IL or TX to Bemidji. This doesn't help.

UNO, NDSU and USD are going to be in a dogfight right to the end to get into the 8 team regional. I would even say Mankato and St. Cloud have an outside chance if they can win out. Not likely with their schedules.
