  • Moeller named to All-region team

Congrats to Andy.  No sign of that little guard from USD or that mouthy kid from UNO who everyone thinks SDSU should have signed, I forget their names.  I'll take Andy.

    Moeller Named NABC All-District
SDSU junior guard Andy Moeller was named to the all-North Central Region first-team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

This season, Moeller averaged 17.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He shot 41 per cent on 3-pointers (85x207), breaking two SDSU long range marks.

Moeller's 85 makes broke Chris White's record 72 made 3-pointers in 1992. He also broke Randy Suarez' record for 3-point attempts with 207. Suarez had set the previous mark with 176 shots in 1988.

Moeller also earned all-North Central Conference honors and was named to the all-tournament team at the NCAA Division II North Central regional.
