      174: David Kocer vs Epperly

Kocer on offense basically the entire first period, but Epperly wouldn't let him get points. An escape by Kocer right away in the second puts points on the board. Epperly escapes in third to tie it, and it goes to OT. Epperly gets the takedown in OT to win 3-1.

          184: Martin Mueller vs Zavatsky

Mueller fights hard in first, but behind 2-1 after one. An escape from both guys in each period puts Martin in striking distance, but a couple more takedowns from Zavatsky puts it out of reach. Mueller loses it 8-3.

              285/HWT: Alex Macki vs Walz

Bad first period for Macki, behind 8-1 going into second (nearly pinned.) Just too much for Macki to overcome as Walz racks up the points and goes for the the tech fall. Macki falls 20-5.

Not exactly a good sign. Hopefully it's not a season ending deal. He seemed to turn the corner.

                            FINAL: SDSU 15, VT 29

Tough day for the Jackrabbits. Both Kocer brothers go to overtime but unable to win them. Some tech falls and a forfeit didn't help, but the bright side is 2 guys got pins on the road to keep the team in it late. Congrats to Seth and Henry!

Just 1 dual left for the season against a Big 12 foe at home. Rival NDSU comes to town next Sunday at 2pm, and it's a "DO NOT MISS" dual! Time to pack Frost again, and get these guys ready for the Big 12 Tournament and Nationals!

From watching Thursday night, I am hopeful that he is not out for the season. He tried to keep going. I think the question is will he wrestle next weekend or does he rest for tournament time. I am sure wrestling aggravates it and if he had a few weeks off, it would probably heal up.
