  • Jackrabbit Journal - Episode 4 (Midco Sports Network)

    Hey guys,

Just because SDSU had a week off doesn't mean we did...an all-new episode of Jackrabbit Journal is online!

Segment 1 - Host Tom Nieman & analyst Hank McCall briefly discuss SDSU's hot start and whether the bye week is coming at the right time.
Segment 2 - A feature on quarterback Zach Lujan and what qualities make him successful.
Segment 3 - Some words from head coach John Stiegelmeier about Zach Zenner making the Detroit Lions, plus a re-airing of a piece we did in June when we visited Zenner at Lions mini-camp in Michigan.
Segment 4 - Tom & Hank break down Robert Morris and discuss their unique offensive and defensive schemes.
Segment 5 - Our "Rabbit Fire" interview with Cole Langer...10 random questions to SDSU's junior defensive lineman.

    Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcp3bn-xZKQ

Also, as a reminder, if you can't get to Coughlin-Alumni, Midco Sports Network will be airing every Jacks home game for the rest of the season! We'll be on the air live at 5:00 PM on Saturday for the Robert Morris game.

Yes, they are very good at their coverage. From high school to college, everyone gets coverage, NSIC and D-1 and everything else. just wish they would replay the shows and games a bit more but thats a minor issue.

On a day off, as get primed to make pilgrimage to Brookings for the Dakota Marker, I'm sitting watching these for this FB season. I'm impressed. Tom and Hank do a great job breaking down the plays, future opponents and interviews with Stig and players. Very sweet that they're on youtube, a great way to watch later. Keep it up MIDCO!

            I like the "whiteboard" feature.

The Midco Sports channel makes it really easy to say no to the door-to-door salespeople from the other cable companies. There's no way I'm switching away from Midcontinent as long as their sports channel is covering MVFC/Summit League sports.
