  • Defensive Changes

New post from TV in his blog today. Slightly uneasy thinking of such changes being still debated in the month of July, but whatever it takes to slow those spread offenses. Expect more consistency from the offense this year with excellent running game and healthy Sumner distributing the ball, so good luck to the defensive staff.

It probably doesn't matter too much, but I thought it was interesting they made it public.

Would this defensive scheme involve somebody covering Ryan Smith?

Just for one game. You have forgotten that Smith and a ton of others are playing their final season. We will fix him the same way we fixed Perry.

Seriously Ryan Smith has made a fool out us more than once. If I am not mistaken, he is some how tied into the Greeno coaching family from the Aberdeen area. This might have something to do with it. A very good athlete for his size. And I do admit, we have not kept a good eye on him.
