Former Jackrabbit standout defensive end Joey Abell will be fighting at the Minneapolis Convention Center on June 21st. The card is part of ESPN's Friday Night Fights however it isn't know if Abell's fight will be televised.

Joey has a professional record of 27-6, most recently losing in 9 rounds to WBA Fedelatin Heavyweight champ Fres Oquendo.

I saw him fight a few years ago in Sioux Falls. He beat the heck out of big, slow guy, but got disqualified for a late hit or something. I imagine that's one of his six official loses.
