  • 2011 Jackrabbit Invitational

2nd annual Jackrabbit Invitational being held in Primm, NV, which is just 30 miles outside of Vegas:

    Here is the "live" scoring:

Scoring is low on the men's side as it is apparently like playing in a dome down there today. Weather is perfect and yes, I'm jealous.

    Go Jacks!!
    SDSU...Passionate, Relentless, Champions.

Check out the individual scores. A 62 and 63! Low on any course. Outside of our Jacks I have to pull for Cody Schweinefus from Drake. What a name!

Kyle Cooper leading the Jacks at -3 right now!

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, BIZUN!!!

And the women break the 54-hole team scoring record by an impressive 20 strokes.

And USD finishes last. NDSU in 8th but Amy Anderson wins the individual title. The bad news, ORU beat us by 43 strokes!

On the topic of Amy Anderson, she is really good. I wonder if it was a mistake for her to stay in ND. Maybe she should have moved south to a major school with more resources to improve her game. I'm guessing she likes her personal swing coach and needs her family close, but it just seems she may be stunting her own golf game and personal growth. Anyway, she should win the Summit tournament this year.
