NDSU has lost 6 consecutive conference games at home.

Two more, and they've pulled off the infamous Bison 8-peat.

I plan to go right out to the kitchen and take two Advil tablets for my headache! My favorite sentence from the examples was: The buffalo from Buffalo who are buffaloed by buffalo from Buffalo, buffalo other buffalo from Buffalo.Obviously that sentence will not be understood by the Bison from Bisonville!

Are you telling me that the Buffalo link will buffalo the Bison?

I didn't look at the link but I heard this the other day. I listen to Bohls presser every week when he plays MVC teams. Its usually pretty interesting and I can learn more about the MVC. Anyways, they brought this up and Bohl said he was really surprised when he heard that and so was I.

But seriously, how can that happen? I think it's a pretty fair assessment that shows how bad NDSU was last year. If they lose this weekend to Indiana State at home there is going to be some issues up there with the administration, let alone the fans. Six in a row AT HOME? I haven't looked back to see who exactly the losses were too but that is terrible. And granted they have had injuries but ten where are those guys that are stepping up? Look for Bohl to have some huge questions to answer if there's a loss this weekend.

                  More facts:

Since entering the MVFC in 2008.

                  NDSU is 7-12
Last MVFC win at home was against ISU-Blue in 2008, 2-7 at home.

                  By comparison:
SDSU is 15-5 and 8-2 at CAS since their entry into the MVFC.

That isn't a good start, especially with that home-field advantage. Is it me or are they starting to figure out that when scholarships are equal(unlike all 8 of their dII championship runs) things aren't as easy??

NDSU went 0-8 in conference last year?

Can't be. They lost to Iowa State. They must have beat someone in the conference, otherwise they'd have been 2-9

I think he means last win at home in the MVC was in 2008. That's without looking it up though

Yup NDSUs last home win in the MVC was Nov 1 in 2008 against Indiana State. They did beat SIU at home that year as well.

That would square, as they were on the road @ the Sycamores last year

(BTW: is their home/road schedule opposite SDSU's?)

You hear a lot about the NDSU record since starting the MVFC but I had been too lazy to look up ours. I'm sorry but 15 - 5 is impressive for our little underfunded University whom some fans of our conference mates to the North belittle because we don't get the "big name" recruits. Stig is one heck of a coach and I hope he decides to hang on for a long, long time.
