The Men look to defend their title. Their main competition should come from Nebraska-Kearney, last years runner up. However, watch out for the wily old Alumni squad!

On the women's side Minnesota is a top 30 D1 team and UMDuluth is a D2 powerhouse. The Jacks look to be in a hunt for third.

South Dakota State won the men's division and Minnesota won the women's division. The Jackrabbit women finished fourth as a team. SDSU's Anthony Bongard won the men's division, Minnesota-Duluth's Morgan Place won the women's division. South Dakota State sophomore Erin Hargens finished sixth after a late race push.

The course was in decent condition after the deluge two weeks ago, there were some sloppy spots though.
