  • Nebraska names MVP of 9/25 game

Bo Pelini, Head Football Coach, said "This guy had a heck of a game", He went on to say "He took 14 points right off the board". Those 14 points turned out to be the margin of victory, so he is indeed the MVP. Pelini said "Our team wasn't getting the job done but this guy came in and played his butt off" he later told the press that "He earned it".

He thought they were playing the South Dakota Gophers.

I tell you what----the Gophs are thisclose to being a $375k patsy with Brewster coaching.

"We need an 8th home game for the weekend before conference play--but the Big(12)Ten has all the MAC teams locked up."

              (finger snap)

"Minnesota. They haven't scheduled a MAC patsy since NIU beat them by two scores."

Quit whining Rabbit fans. Everyone know that when you go on the road that you don't get any calls and you have to overcome many adversities in order to win. I am sure that Illinois State had to overcome these same issues when they beat you at home. Deal with it.

Nope. SDSU served that game up on a silver platter.

Kind of like how Martinez would've served up Saturday's game, if not for the zebras.

Can I just start calling them the Nebraska Zebras?

And Nebraska has some improving to do if they want to contend for a "National Championship". Deal with it.

Well. It's good if you compare it to the rest of his 'smack.' Like grading on a curve.

What do Big 12 refs have against the Rabbits. Nebraska in football, Baylor and Krying Kim in basketball?

So you're acknowledging that if the Jacks got fair calls it'd been no worse than 17-10 and quite possibly 17-17 at the end of regulation? That you actually needed those calls to "win" a "cupcake" game?

BTW - that QB you were gushing about... average MVC QB at best, at least on Saturday...

                              Proud of the Rabbits.. ..
