  • Men dominate, women 2d at UND

The Jackrabbit men placed five in the top 10 to destroy the competition at UND's Ron Pynn Classic today. SDSU's Mike Krsnak was the overall winner. UND finished second followed by the U of Seattle.

The Jackrabbit women had three in the top 10 but the UND women won the race. U of Seattle was third.

Here's the story with a link to results (as of this post, only women's results linked; presumably the men's results will be available later) GOJACKS.COM

Here is the gojacks.com write up.

The three team meet with UND/Seattle/SDSU was scored as a double dual. The men won both duals allowing only one runner from each opposing team to split up the jackrabbits top five. The women lost to UND but were able to edge out Seattle to pick up one win on the day.

Notable absences for the men were Greg Beesley and Marshall Kambestad.

Both are running and mostly healthy right now. It just isn't necessary to race them this early in the season. The season is two and a half months long, they'll have their time to shine.
